Our client in Los Altos Hills came to us after having had a home orchard planted to a Greek olive cultivar. The trees were having some problems, so we came aboard to try and straighten them out and move the orchard into production.  The orchard is tightly spaced, more so than is common, so the trees have a number of challenges with regard to growth, light, air flow through the canopy, and also disease/pest pressure.  We thinned out the canopy on each tree, adjusted the irrigation program, and did other things to promote health for the orchard. The results have been great, with nice harvests the last couple years.  We continue to manage the orchard.
